   Please be advised that blight complaints submitted to the municipality are not anonymous. All complaint submissions become part of the public record and may be subject to disclosure under the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) or other applicable laws.

   By submitting a complaint, you acknowledge that your name and related information may be released in response to a valid FOIA request.

   A blighted or code enforcement condition includes, but is not limited to: structural deterioration, lack of maintenance, infestation, fire hazards, accumulating refuse on private property, storage of two (2) or more unregistered vehicles (junk yard) & unsanitary conditions. It is further found that the lack of maintenance and progressive deterioration of certain structures create blight and initiate slums, and that if the same are not curtailed and removed, these undesirable conditions will grow and spread, necessitating future expenditures of large amounts of public funds to correct and eliminate.
