On Monday, December 18, 2023, the Bristol Water and Sewer Department will continue flushing hydrants in the following areas:
Miller Road, Wolcott Street, High Ridge Run, Old Orchard Road, Witches Rock Road, Cedar Ridge Road, Fall Mountain Road, Wolcott Street, Old Wolcott Road, Allentown Road, Josephine Terrace, Crown Street, Melrose Street, Judson Avenue, Wolcott Street, South Side School, Melinda Lane, East Road, May Street, Greystone Avenue, Sherbrooke Street, Skyridge Road, Pleasant View Avenue, East Road, Salvatore Avenue, East Road, Rosemont Avenue, Claremont Street, Harvest Lane, Briarwood Road, and some of the surrounding areas. We will continue flushing this area until the next area is posted.
We will flush hydrants on these streets and the adjacent areas starting at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m., to allow customers to run their cold water until it runs clear. Low pressure and discolored water is to be expected during flushing and for short periods afterwards. We recommend you refrain from washing clothes during this period. You should run an outside faucet or the cold water in your bathtub until the water runs clear.
