On Monday, July 21, 2025, the Bristol Water and Sewer Department will continue our 2025 hydrant flushing season.
The following areas may be affected:
Grove St, Walnut St, Stewart St, Oakland St, Westminister Rd, Page Ave, cedar St, Farmington Ave in front of the bowling alley, Shaws Dr, Haig Ave, Hoover Ave, Mercier Ave, Moody St, Park Rd near pond in Page Park, Dorothy Rd, Vance Rd, Jerome Ave , Swanson Dr, Terrace La, Palmour Pl, Wildwood Run, Maple Ave, Juniper Rd, Fox Den Rd. Willow Brook Rd, Edgewood School, Edro Rd, Loveland La. and some of the surrounding areas. We will continue flushing this area until the next area is posted.
We will flush hydrants on these streets and the adjacent areas starting at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m., to allow customers to run their cold water until it runs clear. Low pressure and discolored water is to be expected during flushing and for short periods afterwards. We recommend you refrain from washing clothes during this period. You should run an outside faucet or the cold water in your bathtub until the water runs clear.
