On Thursday, May 14, the Bristol Water and Sewer Department will continue our 2025 hydrant flushing season. The following areas may be affected:
Pine Meadow Dr, Cindy La, Glendale Dr, Glenview Dr, Woodcrest Dr, Apple Rd, Oehler Dr, Hart St, Boy St, Maxine Rd, El Toro Dr, Del Prado Dr, Maheu St, Claire St, Marlene St, Pondview La, Burlington Ave, North Pond Ext and some of the surrounding areas. We will continue flushing this area until the next area is posted.
We will flush hydrants on these streets and the adjacent areas starting at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m., to allow customers to run their cold water until it runs clear. Low pressure and discolored water is to be expected during flushing and for short periods afterwards. We recommend you refrain from washing clothes during this period. You should run an outside faucet or the cold water in your bathtub until the water runs clear.
