Kitchen & Bathroom

  • Bug sprays
  • CFL or fluorescent bulbs
  • Disinfectants or mildew removers
  • Furniture, floor, or metal polishes
  • Household rechargeable batteries
  • Laundry products like bleach and spot removers
  • Non-empty aerosol cans

Garage & Garden

  • Auto fluids such as motor oil or antifreeze*
  • Car waxes and cleaners
  • Kerosene and fuel oil*
  • Lawn care chemicals such as pesticides and fertilizers
  • Water or Oil-based paint, varnishes, shellac, stains, thinners, and paint strippers
  • Pool and photographic chemicals

*These items also accepted on a daily basis at the City of Bristol Solid Waste Transfer Station on Lake Avenue. Waste oil must be pure to be accepted at the Transfer Station. Mixtures must be brought to a HHW collection. There is a 5-gallon per person limit.
