4. Old Business by commissioners

  • Lantern Tour Set for Oct 6th & Oct 7th, with a rain date of Oct 8th, 2023
  • Wreaths Across America set for Saturday at noon on December 16, 2023 at North Cemetery.
  • Grave stones in Mine Brook- Pending
  • Vandalism at one of Bristol’s Historic Cemeteries Downs - Pending

 

5. New Business by commissioners

  • Update on the Civil War Monument in West Cemetery.  Conservation needs.  State Historic Register.
  • Update on the Schall & Staub Enterprises work on the “Iron Fence” grave site at North Cemetery.
  • The paperwork for locating gravestones at North Cemetery was given out.  The Cemetery Commission will now be correcting it so it can be given out and put on the internet. QR Codes on selected cemetery stones will be included plus other information that’s collected.
